Although we specialize in tree preservation and restoration work, we are also highly skilled in the removal of trees.

Here are some sequence photos showing each project step-by-step :

-Lines are set for the climber and rigging lines set for lowering-

-Small material is removed first, opening up room for sectioning-

Using two lines for control : the first rope (coming twards you) helps control movement from its current position, into an inverted position- the second rope (hanging straight down) is the bull line that will support the weight and allow the piece to be lowered safely to the ground. Working with both, we lower the piece while controlling its horizontal movement into an open area.

Travis has a few friends that own and operate tree services who call him in to help occasionally. Here he is taking down an American Elm that died from Dutch Elm disease. This tree was in a tight area, near two homes/garages, with power lines all around it.

Setting guide lines and tag lines allows for ultimate control-

Piecing it down in sections-

Air-mail!
Steering some pieces around the evergreens-

Rope is set for the trunk flop, and its time to come down!

My buddy Pat is happy we got the tree down for him-
